Two Pakistani-born brothers with US citizenship have been charged in connection with an alleged terrorist bomb plot in Florida.
Raess Alam Qazi, 20, and Sheheryar Alam Qazi, 30, were arrested on charges of providing support to terrorists and conspiring to use a "weapon of mass destruction" within the United States.
Federal prosecutors allege that the men provided money, housing, communications equipment and transportation as part of a conspiracy to bomb an unidentified target in the US.
The brothers' alleged goal was "to use a weapon of mass destruction (explosives) against persons and property within the United States", according to a statement by prosecutors.
They are naturalised US citizens who shared a home in Fort Lauderdale.
It is one of a number of alleged terror plots on American soil that the US authorities say that they have foiled since the September 2001 attacks on New York and Washington.
